I Am Grateful For You ~ Free Community Event
Make Gratitude Visible—One Handmade Postcard at a Time!
Free Community Event | Kimball Jenkins | Saturday, October 18, 1–3 pm
Kimball Jenkins, 266 N. Main Street, Concord, NH
Saturday, October 18 | Drop-in 1–3 pm
Free & Open to All
The Women’s Caucus for Art/NH Chapter (WCA/NH), in partnership with Concord Makerspace, NH Craft Club, and Kimball Jenkins, invites the community to join the “I Am Grateful for You” Community Postcard Project. This free, drop-in event invites people of all ages to decorate and send handmade postcards expressing gratitude to friends, loved ones, neighbors, or even strangers.
WCA/NH will provide all supplies—and the postage too!
Local WCA/NH artists will guide participants in creating one-of-a-kind postcards. Information tables from Concord Makerspace, NH Craft Club, Kimball Jenkins, and WCA/NH will be available, and autumn-inspired refreshments will help fuel creativity.
The project is part of artist Anne Labovitz’s I Love You Institute, a socially engaged art initiative that uses radical kindness as a tool for healing and connection. To date, more than 500 postcards have been sent out nationwide.
